Hello Monday, Goodbye Busy Weekend! Vintage Gift Box Project
Happy Monday everyone! I am feeling better and better, although maybe overdid it a bit this past weekend. Not that I did that much, but I guess I'm still healing. My son and daughter-in-law moved to a beautiful new home and I watched my little grandson for two nights. He is very good for me, and climbed in my lap and down and even laid down for his diaper changes, but just the extra activity made me realize that it does take time to heal. I would do it again in a heartbeat, he is such a joy. This fun little gift box was a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law, we celebrated her birthday and their new home Saturday evening when we took the baby back. So fun to see almost everything unpacked in just two days! My they are a busy and energetic family.
While shopping I found this vintage (Just old, really!) wooden box at a local antique store. I added the printed bottom and decor on the lid inside and out, and a set of Maddalee's Peony Notecard printables (free download here.) Some new bath products for her lovely new master bath, and it's a fun little gift that I hope brings a little rest and relaxation after her busy weekend, and all the packing she has done for the past few weeks. Now they can get back to normal life and enjoy their new home and neighborhood. Do you love our old Cappi dog photobombing the second photo? Such a sweet old girl.
